The Mugin‑6 is a Chinese‑manufactured vertical‑take‑off and landing (VTOL) unmanned aerial vehicle developed by Mugin UAV. With a 6‑metre wingspan and a semi‑autonomous flight system, it can remain aloft for 5 – 10 hours at speeds up to 129 km/h, delivering up to 20 kg of payload without weaponisation. Designed for long‑duration missions, the platform is suited to intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), environmental monitoring, communications relay and logistical resupply in areas lacking runway infrastructure. Its VTOL capability allows launch and recovery from confined or rugged terrain, giving the People’s Liberation Army a flexible, high‑endurance tool for persistent aerial presence and data collection.
