The YETI is DroneMatrix’s autonomous “drone‑in‑a‑box” system, consisting of the YETI UAV and the climate‑controlled YEDO docking station. Designed for rapid, unattended operations, the platform can launch, fly, and land without human intervention, supporting missions such as surveillance patrols, infrastructure inspection, mapping, logistics and emergency‑response transport. Its modular payload bay accommodates 4 K RGB, thermal, multispectral, hyperspectral, LiDAR, sniffer and speaker sensors, enabling versatile data collection for security, public‑safety and industrial use cases. The YEDO station provides weather protection, HVAC‑regulated temperature, wireless charging, backup power for six hours and integrated weather monitoring, while the ARWS (Aerial Robotic Work System) software manages flight planning, real‑time telemetry, data upload and U‑space compliance. Deployed in Belgium, the YETI delivers up to ten‑fold cost reductions compared with manned inspections.
