Classified as a VTOL platform, it launches and lands vertically before cruising in a fixed‑wing mode, reaching a maximum speed of 120 km/h. Its long endurance—up to 22 hours of flight—combined with a modest 3 kg payload makes it well suited for persistent ISR missions and for delivering lightweight payloads such as small‑size munitions, sensors or electronic‑warfare kits. Operated exclusively by Russian forces, the A8 3300 is employed to provide continuous situational awareness, conduct low‑altitude reconnaissance, and execute limited strike or “kamikaze” attacks against tactical targets.
