Shahed 141 (f78be74a-1ed7-59f5-9333-fa309eb29f47)
The Shahed 141 is a sub‑scale, 40 % replica of the U.S. RQ‑170 Sentinel produced by Iran’s Shahed Aviation Industries (HESA) for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force. Unlike its jet‑powered counterparts, the 141 uses a piston engine driving a rear‑mounted pusher propeller, preserving the low‑observable flying‑wing layout while reducing cost and logistical demand. Its primary missions are unmanned ground‑attack and tactical reconnaissance, enabling the IRGC to conduct short‑range strike missions and persistent surveillance over contested areas. With only ten units reportedly built, the platform emphasizes simplicity, expendability and the ability to field a stealthy, weapon‑capable UAV in asymmetric environments.
