The FH‑902 is a hand‑launched, ultra‑short‑range mini‑UAV developed by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC). Weighing 3.6 kg with a 0.65 kg payload capacity, it carries a dual EO/IR imager for real‑time visual and infrared surveillance. Its electric motor provides up to 1.5 hours of endurance and a line‑of‑sight range of at least 15 km, cruising at 50‑70 km/h and reaching 90 km/h. Designed for rapid, individual deployment, the system can be launched in under three minutes and recovered by deep‑stall gliding. The FH‑902 is fielded by the PLA, Armed Police and civilian police for border‑control, coastal‑guard, and battlefield ISR missions, offering portable, low‑signature intelligence gathering for both plain and plateau terrain.
