Harop (ef6e380e-f95d-54a8-b341-a7a5271bd633)
The IAI Harop is an Israeli‑made, fuel‑powered loitering‑munition (LM) that blends UAV persistence with a suicide‑drone strike capability. With a 6‑hour endurance, a top speed of 417 km/h and a 200 km operational radius, it can be launched from canisters on ground vehicles, naval vessels or trucks, then hover over a designated area while its electro‑optical seeker searches for high‑value targets such as air‑defence radars, command posts, supply depots, tanks or unmanned surface vessels. Once a target is identified, a human operator authorises a precision dive, delivering a 16 kg warhead with sub‑metre CEP. Proven in the 2016 and 2020 Nagorno‑Karabakh wars, Syrian engagements, and the 2025 India‑Pakistan conflict, Harop is fielded by Israel, Azerbaijan, India, Morocco and the Netherlands.
