The Kaman‑12 (كمان) is an Iranian combat‑UAV designed and built by the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF). Powered by a rear‑mounted piston engine, the platform reaches up to 200 km/h and features a 10‑m wingspan with a high‑mounted straight‑wing layout, twin‑boom T‑tail and fixed tricycle landing gear. Its primary missions are intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) and strike operations, enabled by an under‑nose electro‑optical/infrared (EO/IR) turret and provision for up to four external weapon pylons. With a payload capacity of 100 kg, the Kaman‑12 can carry a mix of sensors and munitions, supporting both battlefield observation and precision‑guided attacks. Introduced in 2019, it operates from conventional runways with a 400‑m take‑off roll.
