The CH‑804C is a light, VTOL‑capable UAV developed by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC). Designed for persistent ISR missions, it can take off and land vertically using four tail‑boom rotors before transitioning to conventional forward flight powered by a rear‑mounted two‑blade propeller. With a 4‑hour endurance, a top speed of 130 km/h and a 4 kg payload, the platform carries a belly‑mounted, optically stabilized EO/IR turret (2.5 kg) capable of detecting ground targets at 1.5 km (day) and 1 km (night). An L‑band datalink provides up to 4 Mbps imagery transmission and a 50 km operational radius. Typical roles include border surveillance, pipeline and power‑line inspection, cartographic imaging, search‑and‑rescue, and monitoring of areas of interest.
