The Shahed 139 is a medium‑altitude‑long‑endurance (MALE) unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) produced by Iran Aircraft Manufacturing Company (HESA) and designed by Shahed Aviation Industries. It is an upgraded version of the Shahed 129, featuring a 14.7‑m wingspan, 8.1‑m length, and an empty weight of roughly 1,766 kg. With a claimed range of up to 2,000 km, an endurance of 24 hours and a service ceiling near 30,000 ft, the platform can conduct persistent surveillance and strike missions. The Shahed 139 has seen operational use in regional conflicts and attracted international attention when a U.S. F‑35C intercepted and destroyed one over the Arabian Sea while escorting the carrier USS Abraham Lincoln.
