The PD‑1 “People Drone” is a Ukrainian‑manufactured, VTOL‑capable fixed‑wing UAV built by Ukrspec Systems. Powered by an internal‑combustion engine, it delivers up to 10 kg of payload and can stay aloft for 7–10 hours at a cruise speed of roughly 140 km/h, operating from a 4 m wingspan airframe. Designed for civilian and military ISR missions, the platform provides encrypted, real‑time Full‑HD video and data links out to 100 km, with automatic launch, recovery and fail‑safe return. Ukrainian forces have employed the PD‑1 for fire detection and monitoring, border surveillance, and situational‑awareness flights, leveraging its long endurance and modular payload bay for sensors, cameras and communication equipment.
