The Qods Mohajer‑6 (مهاجر‑6) is an Iranian‑manufactured, single‑engine tactical UAV built by the Qods Aviation Industry Company (produced at HESA). Classified as a CLASS II tactical platform, it combines intelligence‑surveillance‑reconnaissance (ISTAR) capabilities with a payload of up to 150 kg that can carry precision‑guided missiles such as Qaem, Almas or similar air‑to‑ground weapons. Powered by a 115 hp rotary/ water‑cooled engine (Rotax‑914 or an indigenous variant), it can cruise for 12 hours, reach 200 km/h, and operate at altitudes of 4.5–5.5 km with a control‑link range of 200–500 km. Since 2018 it has entered service with Iran’s IRGC Ground Forces, Navy and Army, and has been exported or transferred to Ethiopia, Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces, Sudan, Venezuela, and was used by Russia during the 2022 Ukraine war. Its long endurance and modest cost (~US 2 million) make it a versatile tool for tactical strike, battlefield ISR and limited electronic‑warfare missions.
