The Ukrspecsystems PD‑2 is a Ukrainian‑built, electric‑powered UAV designed for multi‑mission ISR and utility tasks. With a 5‑m wingspan, a top speed of 140 km/h and up to eight hours of endurance, it can operate from a runway or in VTOL mode via detachable motor modules, allowing rapid deployment from ships, trucks or confined sites. Its modular payload bay (7 kg standard, 11 kg max) supports EO/IR cameras, LiDAR, SAR, radio repeaters and other sensors, while an upgraded AES‑256 datalink provides a secure, jam‑resistant 200 km range with automatic frequency‑hopping. Employed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the PD‑2 conducts aerial reconnaissance, border monitoring, infrastructure inspection, search‑and‑rescue and civilian‑government surveillance, offering a flexible, low‑cost platform for both military and civil‑state operations.
