The Harwar‑manufactured Tomahawk H16‑V12 is a Chinese VTOL UAV/UCAV that combines long‑duration electric flight with a versatile payload capacity of 25 kg. Powered by an electric motor, it can remain airborne for up to 60 minutes at a top speed of 64.8 km/h and features 720° obstacle‑avoidance sensing, multi‑band satellite navigation (Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, RTK) and triple‑redundant safety systems. Deployed by the People’s Liberation Army—most notably within the 75th Army Corps’ reconnaissance regiment—the platform supports high‑resolution (36×) visual reconnaissance, security control, smoke and detonation bomb delivery, grenade and missile launch, as well as air‑borne lighting, shouting and explosive‑disposal missions. Its armament includes two 38 mm stun‑grenade launchers (effective ≈ 200 m) and the ability to carry additional weaponry or mission‑specific payloads.
