HERO-400EC (bcd4f643-3e85-56a0-8639-be44f1e0a56c)
The HERO‑400EC is a Uvision‑manufactured, all‑electric loitering munition that combines long‑range ISR and precision strike in a single platform. With up to 120 minutes of endurance, the UAV can loiter for extended periods, locate and track stationary or moving targets, and engage them using a multi‑purpose tandem (thermobaric) warhead or selectable impact/proximity fusing. Its low visual, acoustic and thermal signatures and three‑gimbal EO/IR sensors enable day/night surveillance, target acquisition and battle‑damage assessment. The system is vehicle‑transportable and launchable from single‑ or multi‑canister pneumatic launchers mounted on trucks, armored vehicles or naval vessels, and can be operated by a single ground‑station operator or transferred to forward‑deployed forces. The HERO‑400EC is fielded by the United States.
