Skywalker is a Chinese‑made, FPV mini‑UAV (Class I) produced by Skywalker Technology Co. (Wuhan). Weighing roughly 2.9 kg, it carries a 3 kg payload and can cruise at up to 190 km/h. Unlike conventional radio‑controlled drones, Skywalker is tethered to a reel of fiber‑optic cable—available in 1 km, 5 km, 10 km and, per later statements, up to 30 km lengths—providing a hard‑wired data link that is immune to electronic‑warfare jamming and invisible to typical RF‑based detection systems.
