The Bayraktar Mini is Turkey’s first indigenously‑designed mini‑UAV, fielded by the Turkish Armed Forces since 2007 and produced by Baykar Tech. Powered by an electric brushless motor, the 2‑metre‑span aircraft can stay aloft for up to 80 minutes at a top speed of 74 km/h, carrying a 2 kg payload that can include a day‑/night camera or light munitions. Its carbon‑fiber/kevlar airframe folds into a transport bag, enabling rapid hand‑shot launch and fully autonomous recovery via parachute or automatic landing.
