Qirği (a68ea797-be9e-55e6-8e4a-cac8058af809)
The Qirği is a lightweight, single‑use loitering munition developed by Azerbaijan’s Smart Point and fielded by the Azerbaijani armed forces. Built as a small quadcopter, it carries a 250 g forward‑firing fragmentation charge that disperses ball‑bearing projectiles, functioning much like a Claymore mine. The UAV approaches targets at a 45‑degree angle before detonating, providing a rapid, precise strike against personnel and light vehicles. Its flight system uses GPS waypoint navigation or manual control, with built‑in anti‑spoofing and jamming protection, and it is equipped with day/night and thermal cameras for all‑weather targeting. The Qirği’s primary role is to deliver low‑cost, high‑accuracy “kamikaze” attacks in support of ground operations.
