The SKAT‑350M is a Russian‑made, electric‑powered mini‑UAV (Class I, ISR, wing) built by Kalashnikov Concern. With a 3.5 m wingspan, 14 kg take‑off weight and a 2.5 kg payload, it can stay aloft for up to four hours, cruise at 65‑120 km/h and operate at altitudes of 6 km. Launched by catapult and recovered by parachute, the system uses a low‑noise three‑blade propeller and a spherical gyrostabilised EO/IR sensor suite capable of day‑night imaging, high‑precision mapping and real‑time video. Its ground control unit provides ≈ 70 km line‑of‑sight data links on 32 channels and includes built‑in EW counter‑measures. Deployed by Russian forces in the Ukraine war, the SKAT‑350M conducts frontline reconnaissance, target‑validation and battlefield‑awareness missions, having recorded strikes on HIMARS and Vampyr MLRS positions and supporting special‑operations (SVO) and border‑patrol tasks.
