Zulu DRAP (8ab388df-3bb8-5f17-866d-bea39d9b4222)
The Zulu DRAP (Deployable Reconnaissance & Attack Platform) is India’s first indigenous hovering loitering‑munition drone. Developed by Bengaluru‑based Zulu Defence, the VTOL system can loiter for extended periods, autonomously detect, track and engage armored targets with a 5 kg warhead while also feeding real‑time ISR to operators. Its 30 km strike range and mesh‑networked swarming capability let multiple units coordinate attacks or shift missions on the fly, with human‑in‑the‑loop supervision to minimise collateral damage. Designed for the Indian Army and border‑security forces, DRAP provides a rapid, precise anti‑tank/light‑vehicle capability that augments situational awareness and offers a low‑cost, indigenously produced strike option in contested environments.
