The AeroVironment T‑20 (formerly Arcturus T‑20) is a runway‑independent, medium‑range ISR platform fielded by the United States and slated for export to allies such as Ukraine and Taiwan. Powered by a 190 cc, 10 hp four‑stroke gasoline engine, the UAV offers 24 + hour endurance, a 185 km (115 mi) operational radius and a maximum speed of 92 km/h. Its 5.7 m wingspan supports a 22.7 kg payload, typically a gyro‑stabilised EO/IR gimbal, GPS/INS, and optional communication suites. Launched via a portable catapult and recovered on unimproved surfaces, the T‑20 provides persistent, high‑resolution intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance for tactical units without requiring a conventional airfield.
