Jump 20 (7abf2b0d-93e9-5cbc-8d07-312355426acb)

The Jump 20 is a U.S.‑produced vertical‑take‑off‑and‑landing (VTOL) unmanned aerial vehicle built by AeroVironment. Powered by a 190 cc four‑stroke EFI petrol engine and four electric rotors, it can launch and recover without a runway in under a minute and sustain up to 14 hours of flight at a top speed of 92 km/h. With a 5.7‑m wingspan and 13.6 kg payload capacity, the system carries Cloud‑Cap Technology’s TASE EO/IR gimbals as well as optional LiDAR, SAR, COMINT and SIGINT sensors. Operated by two crew members from a portable ground control station, the Jump 20 delivers long‑range (≈185 km) intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) and can support search‑and‑rescue, maritime domain awareness and communications‑relay missions for the United States armed forces.
