Kub (Куб) (7329fec9-c22c-42e4-83be-e778872c7b3d)

The ZALA Kub‑BLA (also known as the KUB‑E export variant) is a Russian electric, fixed‑wing loitering munition designed for low‑observable, short‑range strike missions. With a 1.22 m wingspan, 30‑minute endurance and a top speed of 80‑130 km/h, it can carry up to 3 kg of explosives or sensors. Launched from pneumatic catapults, high‑speed boats or ship‑borne containers, the drone loiters autonomously, identifies targets via onboard AI‑driven visual recognition, and then dives onto the target in a kamikaze attack. Operational since 2019, it has seen combat in Syria’s Idlib region and Ukraine, engaging artillery, light‑armored vehicles and infrastructure, and can be deployed in guided swarms for maritime or land‑based saturation attacks.
