The IAI Harpy NG (New Generation) is an Israeli‑produced loitering‑munition UAV designed by Israel Aerospace Industries for self‑protected SEAD (suppression of enemy air defenses) missions. Classified as an anti‑radiation drone, it autonomously detects, tracks and attacks hostile radar emitters, then detonates its high‑explosive warhead in a “fire‑and‑forget” strike. The system can be launched from a ground vehicle and operates in all‑weather day or night conditions, offering up to nine hours of airborne loiter time and an expanded RF‑spectrum coverage of 0.8–18 GHz. Its long endurance, autonomous targeting and ease of deployment make the Harpy NG a dedicated, low‑cost solution for neutralising enemy air‑defence networks.
