The GJ‑11 Sharp Sword is a Chinese stealthy, tailless flying‑wing UCAV developed by Hongdu Aviation Industry Group (with Shenyang Aircraft Design Institute) for the People’s Liberation Army Air Force. Powered by a single Guizhou‑built turbofan, it can reach 1 111 km/h and carries up to 2 000 kg of payload in internal weapon bays, enabling precision‑guided strike missions and, when required, ISR tasks. Designed for autonomous launch from land bases or Type 076 amphibious assault ships, the platform can also deploy electronic‑warfare suites and air‑launched decoy swarms, supporting deep‑penetration, air‑superiority and anti‑access/area‑denial operations within contested environments.
