The Granat‑3 is a Russian‑made, fixed‑wing reconnaissance UAV produced by NPO IZHBS LLC (Izhmash Unmanned Systems). Weighing up to 7 kg with a 2‑m wingspan, it can carry a 1‑kg payload and operates for up to two hours at a maximum speed of 120 km/h and altitude of 4 000 m. Launched from a ground unit and recovered by parachute, the system is intended solely for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions and carries no weapons. Its avionics incorporate U.S.‑origin components such as Vishay Schottky rectifiers and transistors, a Linear Technology (Analog Devices) step‑down DC‑DC module, and it functions in temperatures from –30 °C to +40 °C.
