The Bayraktar TB3 is a carrier‑capable, medium‑altitude long‑endurance (MALE) unmanned combat aerial vehicle developed by Baykar Tech. Powered by a 170 hp turbodiesel engine, it offers 24 + hours of endurance, a 300 km/h top speed and a 280 kg payload capacity that can be fitted with laser‑guided, IR‑guided or mini‑cruise missiles as well as ISR suites (EO/IR sensors, AESA radar). Its foldable wings and fully autonomous take‑off/landing allow operations from short‑runway decks such as Turkey’s amphibious assault ship TCG Anadolu, providing naval strike and surveillance capability. In service with the Turkish Land and Naval Forces and slated for delivery to Indonesia, the TB3 combines persistent maritime‑land surveillance, precision strike and network‑centric control for modern joint‑force missions.
