The Arash‑2 (also known as Kyan 2) is an Iranian jet‑propelled loitering munition designed for stand‑off, one‑way attacks. With a 4 m wingspan, a top speed near 400 km/h and an advertised range of up to 1 000 km, it can be launched from a disguised truck‑mounted launcher using a rocket booster. The UAV carries a ~30 kg warhead and can be guided either by satellite navigation or a passive radar‑homing seeker, allowing it to target air‑defence radars, command‑and‑control nodes and other high‑value infrastructure. Operated by Iran’s armed forces, the Arash‑2 provides a long‑range, high‑speed strike capability against critical enemy assets.
