The Saegheh is an Iranian stealth‑configured unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) prototype that mirrors the design of the captured U.S. RQ‑170 Sentinel. Developed by Iran’s domestic aerospace sector, the platform is powered by a rotary‑engine, boasts a 9‑m wingspan and a 16‑hour endurance, and can deliver up to 50 kg of payload—including four precision‑guided bombs—against high‑value targets. Although still in testing, the Saegheh is intended for covert strike missions and is slated for use by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Iranian‑aligned forces in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and elsewhere, providing a low‑cost, long‑range strike capability that augments Iran’s regional air‑power portfolio.
