Shahed 191 (Saegheh-1) (4bca0df9-61e3-51f4-a8fc-6b2f85a34011)

The Shahed 191 (Saegheh‑1) is an Iranian low‑observable, flying‑wing UCAV built by the Iran Aircraft Manufacturing Company (HESA) under the Shahed Aviation Industries brand. Reverse‑engineered from the captured U.S. RQ‑170 Sentinel, the 2.7 m‑long, 7.3 m‑span jet‑powered platform is launched from a vehicle‑mounted rack and recovered on retractable skids. Powered by a turbofan, it can cruise at 300 km/h, reach 350 km/h, and sustain up to 4.5 h of flight, giving it a 1 500 km range and a service ceiling of 7 620 m. With a 50 kg payload, it typically carries two internal Sadid‑1 precision‑guided missiles, enabling strike missions against ground targets. Deployed by the IRGC Aerospace Force, it has seen combat in Syria and attracted foreign interest, including a 2022 Russian technical visit.
