Talash 2 (تلاش 2) (44d1eee6-6ac9-566c-b781-f46a8c1ac41e)
The Talash‑2 (تلاش 2) is an Iranian, low‑cost training and target UAV produced by Qods Aviation Industry Company and designed by the Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research in Isfahan. Weighing under 27 lb, it is launched from a JATO (compressed‑gas) catapult and recovered by parachute after a 45‑minute flight. Powered by a 30 cc two‑stroke engine, it reaches 140 km/h, flies to a ceiling of 2,700 m and operates within a 0.5 km radio‑control radius. The platform is used to train UAV operators in remote‑piloting techniques and to provide realistic aerial targets for anti‑aircraft artillery and surface‑to‑air missile crews, while its modest speed and maneuverability can also be employed to force adversary forces to take cover.
