Hamaseh (حماسه) (3b4c5d6e-7f8a-9b0c-1d2e-3f4a5b6c7d8e)

The HESA Hamaseh (حماسه) is an Iranian‑manufactured tactical UAV developed by the Iran Aircraft Manufacturing Industrial Company (HESA). Designed as a dual‑role platform, it conducts intelligence‑,‑surveillance‑,‑reconnaissance (ISR) missions and can be fitted with weapons for strike operations. Powered by a rotary engine, the drone carries up to 50 kg of payload—including synthetic‑aperture radar, communications‑jamming pods, cameras and small bombs, grenades or rockets—and boasts long endurance (up to 11 hours, with some sources citing 16 hours). It reaches speeds near 200 km/h, launches from a runway or via JATO, and lands conventionally or by parachute in emergencies. The Hamaseh entered service with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in 2016 and remains in Iranian service for both reconnaissance and combat tasks.
