Songar Armed (3016c4cd-3206-560d-bd07-499329f05ff1)
The Songar Armed is a Turkish‑made VT‑OL UAV developed by Asisguard. Powered by an electric motor, it can stay aloft for about 25 minutes and carries a stabilized 5.56 mm assault rifle with up to 200 rounds (or a 30‑round STANAG magazine). Integrated EO/IR sensors, a laser range‑finder and a dedicated gun‑camera give the platform real‑time targeting and surveillance capability, enabling it to conduct target‑area detection, threat neutralisation and post‑strike damage assessment. Variants can mount grenade launchers (2‑× 40 mm or 6‑× 40 mm drums) or a mortar‑gripper for indirect fire. Operated by the Turkish Armed Forces and exported to Nigeria, the Songar Armed is intended for low‑altitude, short‑range strike and intelligence‑gathering missions in counter‑insurgency and border‑security environments.
