The F15 is a Chinese‑made VTOL unmanned aerial vehicle developed by Ziyan for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions. Powered by an electric motor, it can hover, take off and land vertically, then cruise at up to 100 km/h with a service ceiling of 7 000 m. Its 100‑minute endurance and 48 km real‑time video link enable prolonged observation of wide areas, while a 5 kg payload capacity—distributed across three modular stations—supports electro‑optical cameras, LiDAR, gas detectors or other sensors. Operated by the People’s Republic of China, the F15 is positioned for civil‑security, mapping, maritime and public‑security applications, offering open‑ecosystem APIs for third‑party integration.
