MQ-1C Gray Eagle (1a2b3c4d-5e6f-7a8b-9c0d-1e2f3a4b5c6d)

The General Atomics MQ‑1C Gray Eagle is a medium‑altitude, long‑endurance (MALE) unmanned combat aerial system fielded by the United States Army. Powered by a rotary‑engine diesel, it can stay aloft for up to 30 hours, cruise at ≈ 400 km/h and carry ≈ 250 kg of payload, including AGM‑114 Hellfire missiles, Viper Strike bombs or SIGINT pods. Designed as an upgrade of the Predator, the Gray Eagle provides persistent intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) while also delivering precision strikes, enabling “man‑in‑the‑loop” targeting for ground units and for MUM‑T integration with platforms such as the AH‑64E Apache. Its automated take‑off/landing system and extended‑range variants support operations across theaters from Iraq, Afghanistan, Korea and Africa.
