The CH‑7 (Caihong‑7) is a Chinese‑manufactured, turbofan‑powered, stealth flying‑wing UAV developed by the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation’s 11th Research Institute and built by Aerospace Long‑March International (ALIT). With a 27 m wingspan, 16‑hour endurance, and a top speed of 926 km/h, it is designed for high‑altitude, long‑range operations. Originally promoted as a strategic armed‑reconnaissance platform, the CH‑7 has shifted to a tactical “stealth early‑warning” role, providing persistent ISR, electronic‑support and jamming, and wide‑area air and sea surveillance. Its internal payload bay can carry sensors and weapons, enabling both intelligence‑gathering and limited strike capability while penetrating defended airspace.
