The Interceptor‑MR is MARSS’s electric, VTOL‑capable “killer‑drone” designed to neutralise hostile unmanned aerial systems in contested airspace. Weighing under 8 kg with a 0.9 m wingspan, it can climb to 2 km and reach 80 m/s (≈288 km/h), enabling kinetic interception of Class I and II UAVs at ranges beyond 5 km. Launched from an autonomous vertical smart canister, the platform receives threat data from the NiDAR CORE sensor suite, then uses onboard AI‑driven EO/IR processing to track, dog‑fight and strike targets with a reinforced carbon‑titanium airframe that can survive multiple impacts. Operated by the United Kingdom and supplied to Ukraine, the Interceptor‑MR provides rapid, low‑collateral, reusable counter‑UAS capability for force‑protection, critical‑infrastructure and forward‑deployed missions.
